The​ ​Body​ ​Project​

This is a body-acceptance program designed to help girls & women improve their body image and self-esteem. The​ ​Body​ ​Project​ is supported by more research than any other body image program! Angela and a team of passionate counsellors facilitate The Body Project across Calgary, with the goal of helping everyone who identifies as female appreciate the body she has!

April 2018 Body Project Sessions

Can’t attend this session? Create your own! Gather together 5-10 friends & colleagues & contact Angela to host your own Body Project event!  All you need is 4 hours (either four-1 hour or two-2 hour sessions, a space to host (your own living room is fine!), and a willingness to dive deep into exploring body image.  Angela is booking Body Project sessions for May/June/July, 2018.


 Yoga for Body Image

This is not your everyday yoga class! This workshop merges yoga philosophy, yoga postures, mindfulness, and heart-centered meditation to focus on healing eating & body image issues. You will learn yoga practices to build self-confidence and reduce anxiety, honour your body and emotions with heart-centered meditation, and learn mindful eating and self-care practices.

This workshop is co-facilitated by Kundalini yoga instructor & body positive advocate Megan McGovern.

 Bikini Body Bootcamp

Do you have the confidence to rock a bikini? Why not?!  We have too many “rules” about our bodies to truly feel free to wear, be, and do what we want!  Join bikini lover, psychologist, yogi & body positive activist Dr. Angela Grace in a workshop focused on compassionate and mindful ways to develop the body confidence to rock whatever bikini you want through a combination of mindfulness, discussion, self-reflection, and laughter!
